Both in vacuum, rigid-strand pivot dynamics, ab initio quantum forces. Backbone H-bonds fold polyglycine (150° → 105°). Side-chain repulsion prevents chignolin from folding — real proteins need the hydrophobic effect (entropic), which our electronic solver cannot capture.
